Burning is a digitally produced book with photographic images and 7 love poems by the artist. The images, primarily of a woman's head, are close-up details which softly fill the pages, acting as a ground for the text. The text is read through cut-outs in the pages which allows the phrases to be juxtaposed differently on each page creating the poetic flow.

The binding is a hardcover Coptic binding with a window cutout on the front cover. The covers are painted in acrylic. The book was printed on an Epson inkjet printer from a Macintosh computer onto Nidiggen paper.
